In 2019 Merrimack Valley Credit Union (MVCU) merged with nearby Bridgewater Credit Union. They needed a brand and a website that could grow along with them.

Design & Branding

MVCU did not wish to rename their new merger, and instead chose to present a combined name and logo of the two credit unions in order to ease the transition for their customers. So we designed an updated and improved brand that was also neutral enough that a future rebranding effort could be done without a complete website overhaul, thus saving them time & money in the long run.

Taking the initial branding guidelines, we created a holistic digital design system. From these pieces the entire experience could be seamlessly grown and expanded upon in the future. Once put together we could efficiently combine data visualization and interactivity in an approachable way.

An animation strategy was implemented to engage users and create a friendly and approachable experience.

Personalizing the Experience with Data

Rather than rattle of a list of rates and offerings, we designed a suite of tools for users to visualize the tangible benefits MVCU’s offerings can provide. They were flexible enough to live anywhere required on site, and dynamic enough to be kept updated via the content management system.

ATM & Branch Locator

Working with Vue.js and Google Maps APIs, we designed and developed a location based tool to browse ATMs & Branches.
