The primary goal for most users is to register and request a housing placement. To address the challenge of aimlessly clicking through without success and relying on chance to find an available spot, we created a map-based interface to allows users to filter and view what's accessible, matching their specific criteria, thereby providing them with more control and visibility over available options.

With a sea of resources and content to sift through in order to find what you needed, it was crucial to make it quick and easy for users to search the website. We developed a fast and easily accessible search interface powered by Algolia custom search.

We designed a rich library of foundational elements that played with the HACC logo and housing motif. With this design system in place we then developed a best in class digital platform that was easy to use and maintain. It’s all powered by the incredibly popular Wordpress platform allowing any future content editors and managers to be trained and hired easily.
