In 2018 Blue Federal Credit Union rebranded and looked for an upgrade to their existing website. We worked to design a new digital experience that would attract new users, as well as persuade existing customers to use Blue for their future banking needs.
Blue’s previous site was not only needing a branding overhaul but it wasn’t adequately accomplishing their business needs.
Our mission was to work along side their marketing agency to create a new experience that would educate, inform, and excite potential and existing members.
Leveraging our prior credit union experience, we looked to push beyond conventional bank and credit union marketing, and put the numbers into the hands of the users. Everywhere rates and rewards are discussed we put in calculators to let users quantify these benefits to themselves. What you’re left with is a digital experience that engages, educates, and excites.
Having recently completed a complete re-branding, we expanded the new brand into a thoughtful digital component system ready for the web.
Designs were negotiated and tweaked with input not only from the client stakeholders but the branding agency as well.
One of the key selling points of Blue was their immense ATM and shared branch network. We designed and developed a map based interface for customers to browse and locate locations near them. We integrated multiple data sources and APIs into a responsive Vue based application.
